Fan Page Buzz | Traffic Generation Strategy

Fan Page BuzzGet some Facebook Fan Page Buzz rolling in your direction. Learn a traffic generation strategy that has worked for many people employing social media to drive traffic to their Fan Page, blog, and other target sites. This is not a difficult strategy to implement, but it is one that you have to work on diligently and consistently in order to create your own Fan Page buzz.

Nobody can create buzz around your Fan Page except You

Once you’ve created your Fan Page, it’s up to you to give it quality content, make it a resource tool and place to hang out for your followers, students, clients and subscribers. Give it some color, dimension, swagger, entertainment, or whatever kind of pizzaz suits your character and leadership style.

What’s most important is to use your page for folks to meet “you”. Your “fans” or “followers” are there to find out what YOU have in store for them, how you can solve their problems, and how you can make their lives better.

So don’t disappoint, confuse or ignore them. Be there for them consistently and authentically, and they’ll be there for you, creating the Fan Page buzz that will stoke the fires under your business model.

How Do You Get Started With a Fan Page?

I’ve answered this question in a previous blog post, Make A Fan Page.

Meanwhile, keep in mind that you don’t have to be married to a single Fan Page. You can create multiple pages for a variety of reasons. Some may be for affiliate programs or products, others for particular strategies or methods, and yet others for specific business enterprises or MLMs.

I love to read your questions and comments, and encourage you to share this post within your social media streams. I’d also love to hear if you’ve been running a fan page on facebook, or if so, how you go about creating your own fan page buzz.

Enjoyed your video David, lots of great information. I realize I’d hadn’t thought about having the ability to create more than one fan page – oh duh! Thanks for the inspiration, I’m already coming up with ideas!

That’s right, Marty. Multiple pages help you address different aspects of your business.

      Good luck with it!

I have set up a couple other fan pages but wasn’t clear how you could set them up for affiliate products. I guess it could be a review fan page just like you show in your video. So thanks for the ideas David. Appreciate you sharing this!

Glad you got some value from it, Lynn.

A review page is good for affiliate products. Or you can set up a site for the “niche” that the particular product is in.

Remember that the Facebook TOS (terms of service) requires that you not use the product name in any way in the title of your page (unless you happen to own the product or company in your title). I’ve seen too many clients lose their hard work by violating this… eventually Facebook is likely to take down that sort of page.

    Hi David,

You have given some great tips for setting up a Facebook Page. I really like the way you explain how to find people who would be interested in your business. Which with time can become your customers. Take care Rosemary

Now all you gotta do is “do it”, Rosemary.

That, of course, is the “hard” part of all this… if you consider “work” to be “hard”. Too many people do and, after going through the effort of creating some pretty interesting fan pages, they abandon them to neglect.

Glad you learned some stuff, I’ll get out of your way and let you implement!

      Thanks for for visit.

    Great tutorial David,

I must admit, I have 4 “Like Pages” and I tend to not use them for my marketing as much as I thought. I just enjoy my facebook groups so much that I forget to go and engage there as well. Great reminder ;)

Well, you can dilute your efforts, Nathalie, if you try to go off into too many directions.

What’s nice is if you have 4 affiliate sites (for instance) that are all in the same niche. Then when you write an article or blog post, or publish a video IN THAT SAME NICHE, you can share that content on all 4 of your FB pages because your content is relevant to ALL of them!

Good luck. I know you’re doing a great job already!

I’m just getting into Facebook fan pages now so this came at a good time. I think the biggest thing is to create an active community in order to establish yourself as a leader.
Thanks for the tips… I’ll be putting them to use here shortly.

You’ve really hit on something here, Kyle.

The most important reason for creating a Fan Page is to build an “active community”, and give you an opportunity to shine and show off a bit!

This is what builds trust, and that’s the basis of a strong business model.

      Thanks Kostas.

Getting a fan page or two cranking really is NOT an option, as you point out.

To keep up with the competition, you’ve got to position yourself properly with followers and fans… that means a FB fan page.

      You’re not alone, Willena.

Fan Pages are often neglected by those of us who are spread too thin already.

The fact that we can use MULTIPLE fan pages confuses things even more.

I think at one time (like 6 months ago), Fan Pages were not a top priority strategy. But with all the Google search changes coming down the pike, they have really risen in significance.

Gotta manage your time! Don’t we all. Good luck, Willena, I’ll be watching :)

Hi David, thanks for the great tips and video on how to create a buzz on Facebook. I just started using Facebook in October and it has been quite a ride. I am going to take your suggestion to go to other popular pages in my industry and leave comments with a link to my new fan page. Thanks for your help :)

Kudos! Let me know how you make out.
