You need a consistent “Fan Page” flow, in order to make your Facebook Fan Page the social center you need. Like a grand lake, your Fan Page is fed continually by a variety of social streams, filled with fans that you must learn to channel in the direction of your Fan Page.

1. make a Fan Page; and

2. energize it with some Fan Page Buzz by infusing it with a good quantity of

highly targeted, high-quality content.

Procuring Fans and Followers

Once you have covered the basics outlined above, getting fans and instilling

loyalty in them, becomes your main task.

The best way to do that is to continue, on a consistent basis, to offer quality

content, while making sure everyone in your circle of influence is regularly made

aware of your new offers and updates.

SEO Your Facebook Fan Page

One other strategy to get folks swimming your way, is to optimize your Fan Page

with keywords. As with blogs and articles, Search Engines like Google, Bing and

Yahoo will scan your Fan Page to see if it is relevant to various search

criteria. Meanwhile, Facebook also its own search engine, too.

As with other online content, integrate keywords “on page” within key areas:

1. status updates
2. titles
3. page name
4. the info box
5. image tags
6. video tags

You can build an “off page” SEO strategy by building backlinks to your page. Be

sure to cultivate backlinks from external sources like blog posts, Twitter feeds,

YouTube, and other source locations.

As you improve you Fan Page SEO ranking, you stand a better chance to gain search

traffic, and further build the authority status of your Fan Page.

Nobody can create buzz around your Fan Page except You

Once you’ve created your Fan Page, it’s up to you to give it quality content, make it a resource tool and place to hang out for your followers, students, clients and subscribers. Give it some color, dimension, swagger, entertainment, or whatever kind of pizzaz suits your character and leadership style.

What’s most important is to use your page for folks to meet “you”. Your “fans” or “followers” are there to find out what YOU have in store for them, how you can solve their problems, and how you can make their lives better.

So don’t disappoint, confuse or ignore them. Be there for them consistently and authentically, and they’ll be there for you, creating the Fan Page buzz that will stoke the fires under your business model.

How Do You Get Started With a Fan Page?

People often think it’s a long and expensive undertaking to develop an online business or to actually start earning commissions on the internet. It doesn’t have to be complicated, difficult or time-consuming when you make a “fan page” to get the ball rolling,

First you need a personal facebook account. Once you have that, simply go to your account and create a Fan Page.

Facebook Makes Creating A Fan Page Easy

Facebook now gives you various categories of fan pages to hook into. The video shows you where to find a category for any fan page you have in mind, and to set up your fan page within that category. It’s great to take advantage of the facebook tools, because they are well defined and targeted for your fan page.

Do You Need A Fan Page Before You Have Fans?

The term “fan page” is actually a misnomer for most fan page applications. The majority of these pages are actually business pages, social cause pages, company pages, artist pages, non-profit organization pages and the like.

The original concept of the fan page was that the page owner would be some sort of celebrity that everyone would want to follow. It was a great way for facebook to attract a lot of people to their site.

Today, though, many different people want a “fan page” for many different reasons. You will generally hear a business, artist or non-profit page (along with all the others) referred to as a “fan page”.

Can I Sell Stuff on My Fan Page?

Short Answer: Yes. Facebook allows you to engage in commercial activity on fan pages, but not on your personal page. That said, the best commercial use of your fan page is NOT to simply “sell stuff”.

It is to engage with others in your niche, and leverage the immense popularity and credibility of facebook to establish your own “brand” among those who would care the most (others engaging in conversation within your same niche).
