Stop jumping from one great internet marketing strategy to another. Pick one to work on and just do it. You can always explore others later.

You simply cannot afford to miss out on the latest internet marketing strategy. Maybe you’ve tried social media or article marketing. Maybe you’ve given a shot at Google pay per click. If these things are not generating the leads you want, then you’ve got to look into the latest, the hottest, perhaps the greatest internet marketing strategy ever.

Have you ever felt this way?

Have you ever been on track, working hard to develop a specific strategy when, WHAM… here comes a better one! Gotta get to the free webinar, or sign up for the free ebook, or start doing some Google research on it.

Are all the newest ideas, techniques, info-webinars, systems and tools a whole lot of hype? Are they just sizzle without any steak?

Sometimes they are. Sometime they are not.

At one time, Facebook and Twitter were new “flashes in the pan.” But they turned the Social Media world on its head. But many other ideas never got any bounce at all, and nobody can even remember their names any longer.

Are You Missing Out On The Hottest Happening?

As an internet marketing entrepreneur, you must decide when to stop dead in your tracks to investigate a new method, tool or system… or when to put blinders on to EVERYTHING blasting off all around you, and just stick with the game plan that you’re carrying out.

I find that a big problem with my clients and fellow marketers is that they are all too eager to jump out of one ship, midstream, and leap onto another going in a different direction. I think part of it is because the grass always seems greener on the other side, and also because things aren’t going as well as they hoped where they are.

Certainly another part of the ship-jumping problem, is that many entrepreneurs thought things would come easier, and instead of keeping their nose to the grindstone and pushing full steam ahead, it seems like it might be less work and more reward to leap for another ship.

Finally, another reason I see people jumping ship is pure and simple, good old fashioned procrastination. Why isn’t their business going forward?
Why can’t they complete a campaign? Because they MUST look into something better that just appeared. That means more research, another webinar, 6 hours of video, read a new book… anything but getting down to the task of completing the task they started out on.

My Advice?

Know that being an internet marketer is a long-term business, not a get-rich quick scheme. Don’t have unreasonable expectations of overnight success for very little work. Don’t harbor expectations of grandeur that come without lots of sweat, hard work and temporary set-backs that teach us more than any book we’ll ever read.

Check out the latest and greatest internet marketing strategies, tools and systems… when you’ve completed the campaign or project you already began.

Could you miss out? Yes. Will you? Not likely. If the latest hype has legs, it will be around for a long time. If it doesn’t, you’ll miss out on a sinking ship.

In the meanwhile, the hottest internet marketing strategy today, as it was yesterday, is to stick to your plan, see it to fulfillment… then and only then, reassess and consider where to go next. Chances are, the strategy you’re working on may not be the sexiest and trendiest thing on the internet, but I’ll bet it’s got a whole lot of success history behind it.

So, yes. Check out the latest and greatest internet marketing strategies. Just don’t jump ship so many times that you end up drowning.

I’d love to hear about the ship you’re traveling on right now. Comments, re-tweets, Facebook and other social media shares are always appreciated!

Drive traffic and buzz and business to your blog by joining a blogging alliance, also known as a syndication tribe.

Hey blogger and online business marketer! Have you ever felt like you’re all alone in the wilderness? A voice in the desert? Feel like all the great things you write or create videos about are just between you and the trees?

Maybe you’re just not seeing the forest from the trees.

You’re NOT alone.

There are many pioneers of this vast internet world who have messages to bring, services to offer, even products to sell that could truly have a major impact on our world.

The first problem they encounter, though, is “how can I get people to listen?”

Have you been screaming out your message but nobody hears? Nobody comes by to read your blog posts, or view your videos? Nobody leaves comments or joins in the conversation you try to bring to the table? Do you struggle to find “friends” on Twitter and FaceBook?

What To Do When Nobody’s Hearing You

The answer to your dilemma lies in making your voice loud enough that it can’t be missed.

To do this, you need to find community… what we call a blogging alliance or, more commonly, a syndication “tribe”. If, by the way, you’re not familiar with what “syndication” is all about, it’s simply a method for sharing content like blog posts with each other. A very simple (but powerful) example is when I comment on your blog post, then you comment on mine in return. That’s the sort of syndication that a blogging alliance or syndication tribe will do.

You may be a pioneer, but when faced with the rigors of the wilderness, you need to join a community of other pioneers who can help each other tough out the barren winter and protect themselves from bigger and stronger beasts of prey.

What To Do When Nobody’s Helping You

Who will stand watch while you sleep, or give warning when disaster lurks? That is to say, what sort of automation tools are available to drive traffic to you? What sort of technology can you use to amplify your voice, and to spread it across the world with just a few keystrokes? And what are the pitfalls to be aware of?

Your tribe will help you with all of this. They will bring you up to date to use the latest technology to put your efforts on cruise control, while steering you clear of the hazards that eat most internet pioneers alive before they even make a campfire.

Blogging alliances and syndication tribes are built on the foundation of tribal community goals and shared values. They bring you the assistance and expertise of others who have tread this wilderness before you, and have clearly marked the trails that will most directly get you to your destination.

Your Syndication Tribe Is A Shining Light In The Darkness

Members of my tribe come from all walks of life. From all ethnic and religious backgrounds, and even from different continents on the globe. Yet, we all share a common experience.

We are all pioneers. We have left the comfort of the big city… the BOSS with a paycheck, the apartment above the deli, and the token for the subway.

The very first thing we encounter is the VASTNESS of the WILDERNESS.

We feel small, overwhelmed and barely suited for the obstacles we face. We question ourselves for leaving our comforts and familiar lifestyles behind us. We wonder if we should have listened to our families and friends when they warned us that we’d never survive out here, all alone.

Tribes Can Turn Your Blog Into A Beehive of Buzz!

The second thing we encounter is the strength of community.

In order to survive the first brutal winter, we huddle together with our new tribe mates. We establish a community where we give each other a voice to be heard. We visit each other’s blogs, view each other’s videos and friend our tribe mates on FaceBook and Twitter.

This gives us “social credibility”. The time will come when “strangers”… people not in our tribe… will notice all the activity on our blogs and in our social media streams. They will want to know if we are credible. They will look to see if we are getting comments and social activity. And, of course, they will find it. Lots of it!

Comfortable with the social credibility we’ve displayed, these new visitors will jump right in and join the conversation that we have begun. Eventually, many of them will join our business opportunities, buy our products, read our e-books, sign up for our online workshops and so forth. They will hear our message, join our vision and become the basis of our new business.

But not until they’ve seen the activity we generate through our tribe affiliations.

Be A Pioneer, Not A Hermit: Join A Blogging Alliance or Syndication Tribe Community

So, if you are a serious internet pioneer… If you’ve left the big city comforts behind… and you’re out here trying to figure out how to survive your first winter, contact me.

There really is strength in numbers… and in community!

Let me introduce you to my blogging alliance… my tribal community. I’ll give you a tour of our village, introduce you to some of my tribe mates and show you how to arm yourself, and get prepared for internet marketing survival.

Sound intriguing? Let me know what you think of this information. Jump into the conversation by leaving your comment below. I’d love to hear from you.

Build an online reputation for yourself, literally, "Overnight", with a network syndication collective called a TRIBE.

The fastest, cheapest, most effective way to drive traffic to your newly designed blog is Network Syndication. The best format for network syndicating that I’ve seen is Tribes.

Tribes are groups of like-minded bloggers who form a voluntary alliance for the express purpose of giving each other seed traffic and comment feedback. The purpose of this is to lend “social credibility” to your blog.

Social credibility for your blog functions as your online “reputation” so to speak. The more people see you attracting attention through comments from other readers, retweets of your post, facebook shares of your post and other forms of network syndication… the more credible they perceive you to be, and the better reputation you gain as a blogger.

Can People Find YOU on Google?

This “reputation” goes beyond the mere perception of your value within your niche, it also leads directly to higher ranking from search engines, primarily Google. You should be doing things to improve your search engine rankings, because the better your ranking, the more likely it is that people will find you when they search for topics within your niche.

The techniques you employ to improve your search-engine rankings are called search-engine optimization (more commonly referred to as “SEO“) techniques.

One of the most basic, yet powerful SEO techniques you can employ, is to make your blog posts attractive to readers. Ultimately, you attract readers to your post by offering them value in the form of the information, enlightenment or entertainment. Initially, though, you must get readers to visit your blog, or they will never even know what value you can offer.

What’s A Tribe?

This is largely the focus of tribal syndication.

People are far more likely to click on to your blog if they see you listed in the search engines, notice that other readers are tweeting about you, or retweeting your posts or facebook sharing your posts. This, again, is one of the primary functions of a tribe.

To the extent that a tribe gets buzz going about you, about your blog and about the value you can offer to visitors… to the extent that your tribe generates that interest in your blog, you will gain a reputation online as a person to go to for whatever services or products you are promoting.

So whatever your niche, be it health products, work at home strategies, improving your marriage, finding a lifetime partner, or anything else… you will become a credible expert and go-to guru to the extent that you develop a super-syndicated blog. To do this, you really need to find a tribe to get you the recognition you will need to gain the success you are looking for.

How Can YOU Join a Tribe?

I cannot underestimate the power of a tribe to make you a star, and to make your blog a topic of conversation around the virtual water-cooler. If you need help finding a tribe to work with, or if you’d like me to show you how you could join my tribe, CONTACT ME. I’d be happy to put you on the road to success… a road paved with network syndication strategies that are most quickly and cost-effectively put into play by joining a tribe. You’ll be amazed at how easy and how purely powerful this is.

If used properly, Social Media can be the backbone to building your MLM downline organization.

It is often thought… and taught… that it is bad business to try to develop your MLM business through the use of Social Media.

This is true in one respect. You don’t want to use your personal blog, video channels and social media to brand yourself as a top MLM recruiter for a specific company. Unless, of course, that is the only objective to your online presence.

It is not necessary to involve your personal blog and video channels in your MLM marketing effort though.

So, in fact, yes, you can build downlines for your MLM business using internet marketing techniques. You just shouldn’t be using your personal blog and video channel to do it. Those should be reserved for offering generic content that can apply to any online business.

An effective way to promote exclusively to prospects for a particular MLM opportunity is to create a separate video channel and blog site dedicated purely to training and informing those lead. Then cross-promote between those videos and blog posts.

Video

Create a YouTube video channel dedicated to trainings for your company.

Create a series of video trainings branding yourself as a leader in the company.

Link the videos to blog posts you write about your MLM company on your blog site dedicated to that company.

Blog

Create a blog site dedicated to your company or your company’s niche.

Post information on your blog to teach potential downlines how to market your company’s product or service.

If you cannot or do not wish to use your company name, you can discuss products your company features, such as travel discounts or vitamins. Use keywords that would be likely to attract prospects researching your company, its services or products.

Create information products designed to help market your company. Give them for free as Opt-In offers. Develop a prospect auto-responder mailing list from these opt-ins.

Offer free webinars, teleconferences and other marketing trainings in email blasts to your auto-responder list.

Social Media

You can even create dedicated Social Media sites, such as a Facebook Fan or Business Page, to syndicate your video and blog content, and to create friendships and associations with prospects.

Personal Branding

Using the videos in conjunction with your blog, and ultimately conducting live trainings via webinar or teleconference will brand you as a legitimate leader of your MLM company. Prospective downlines will be attracted to your leadership and your training, and will want to join your organization to capitalize on your professional guidance and stature.

This is the most effective way to use free social media and blogging to develop a downline for your MLM company. Social Media is a powerful recruiting tool. If used properly, it can be the backbone to building your MLM downline organization.

Marketing campaigns are designed to obtain prospects and clients, but also to put your business on the map and establish you as a force to be reckoned with in the world of cutting edge internet entrepreneurs and online marketers.

In the final part of this series on using Social Media as the key to your Internet Marketing Success , I will show you how to execute an extreme offensive attack from the positions you have established. Executing proven strategies such as these will become the foundation for driving traffic, prospects, and down-lines from Social Media sites to your blog and, ultimately, into your sales funnel.

In the first part of this series, I discussed how creating a path to online marketing success requires taking up precise Social Media positions. In the second part, I illustrated how to reinforce these positions consistently and systematically with valuable content that is specifically meaningful to your target clientele.

Use Your Positions To Co-Ordinate and Execute Extreme Marketing Campaigns

Now that you’ve assumed your Social Media positions, and have established a plan for the ongoing reinforcement of those positions, you are ready to unleash an extreme marketing campaign. There are many types of campaigns you could embark on, of course, but let’s look at just one. This will show you what a marketing campaign might look like.

Case Study

One of my clients (let’s pretend it is you) was interested in building up her MLM downline for a health products company.

Here’s one marketing campaign we devised.

Step One:

Create a single video discussing the product line: what it is, what its health benefits are, and who would want to use it.
Create a SERIES of 3 videos discussing the benefits of becoming a distributor of the product.

Step Two:

Release the videos (post them) onto You Tube and other video sites, one at a time, for 4 consecutive days.

Step Three:

On day one of your first video release (about the product), you will post an entry on your blog about health in general, pertaining to the product you are promoting, but not specifically. So for instance, you could post about how your diet could reduce the likelihood of heart attacks, reduce high cholesterol and lower blood pressure. (One of your key products utilizes these same principles, but that is only discussed in your video, not on your blog post).
On the second day, enter a pillar post on your blog about MLM marketing, showcasing your skill-set and capability to lead people through a marketing process. This post is NOT about your MLM opportunity, it IS about how any MLM can be effectively marketed. This post should link directly to the “work with me” (or whatever you call it) page on your blog that will show prospects more about your MLM and HOW THEY CAN CONTACT YOU to get involved. It should also backlink to your You Tube video.

Step Four:

At the same time that you post the two blog posts outlined in Step Three, you will post two ezine articles that are essentially the same as your blog posts, but reworked for article SEO formatting.

For SEO formatting, I recommend that your articles should be heavily key-worded to your niche.

In addition, the first paragraph should comprise a fairly detached and academic statement of (in article 1) the health issues that your product addresses; and (in article 2) the nature and history of MLM marketing.

These articles should backlink to your You Tube video, and to your “work with me” blog page, or, probably best of all… an “excluded” blog page dedicated strictly to the campaign.

Call To Action

This campaign was designed for a client desiring to build her downline. Its purpose was to root out all the browsers and seekers of MLM opportunities in general, and attract those ready and able to join the specific opportunity offered.

In order to have people ACT on my client’s video, blog and article discussions … a Call To Action had to be in place. For the most part, I suggested that this be offered in the form of the “work with me” static page of the blogsite, or the excluded page linked to directly from video and article content.

In addition, Facebook links and Tweets are used to encourage people to view the blogs, as are email blasts to prospects already in the sales funnel, and direct messages to the Facebook sales funnel list of prospects.

The call to action in this case was essentially a “call me for more information” offer. Optional to this, you could also employ an optin box on your “work with me” page, or even within the blog post itself. Still another call to action could be an optin box on your Facebook Business page.

Summary

Marketing campaigns are designed to obtain prospects and clients, but also to put your business on the map and establish you as a force to be reckoned with in the world of cutting edge internet entrepreneurs and online marketers.

Besides the prospects you seek for the immediate opportunity you are promoting, you will also be adding to your overall online credibility. This might lead to people joining other opportunities or products you offer on your blog, or at the very least, should add to your online visibility and personal branding.

Campaigns like the one I just demonstrated, can put your business over the top. They can establish you as a force to be reckoned with in the world of internet entrepreneurs and online marketing. Your Social Media sites will be the base from which all operations proceed, and your Internet Marketing Success will be measured by how effectively you carry out missions to attract and convert prospects, leads, down-lines and business partners into your marketing funnels. Visit my other posts that detail the first and second parts of this 3-part series designed to propel you to rapid victory in Online Marketing.

In the first part of this series, I discussed how creating a path to online marketing success requires taking up precise Social Media positions. In this second part, I’ll show you how to reinforce these positions with good, valuable content that is specifically meaningful to your target clientele.

Developing valuable content to reinforce your Social Media positions is a proven power strategy for driving traffic and prospects from your Social Media sites to your blog and, ultimately, into your sales funnel. I stress to my clients the importance of developing this content and, at the same time, making it relevant to their target viewers.

Reinforce Your Social Media Positions… with Valuable Content

You will need to reinforce your Social Media positions by continually executing the action required to shore up those positions. I’ve worked with many clients whose online marketing efforts were stagnating because they thought that simply holding their Social Media positions was sufficient maintenance activity. Reinforcement through consistent monitoring and development, though, is where you really bring your efforts to the next level.

But reinforcement doesn’t just happen. It requires diligent enhancement by adding value-laden content on a continual basis.

You must plot a strategy for effectively reinforcing your Social Media positions.

Determine the sort of content you plan on sharing.

This requires that you first determine your niche, or key interest in what you want to market online.

Then you need to determine what your target market is. Are you looking for other online marketers, or people who want a home-based business or MLM to join. Based on what you are offering, WHO are you looking to connect with to do business?

Reinforce Your Social Media Positions… with Relevant Content

Once you have clearly established WHO comprises your target market, create a client profile. What is your ideal client’s age, sex, interests, and knowledge base with regards to your product or service.

Armed with this profile, you can go about the business of designing the sort of content that will be pertinent to your ideal client/viewer. When your target viewers see that the content you are giving them on Social Media sites like Twitter and You Tube is of value to them, they will be far more likely to want to connect with you on Facebook to pursue a still more meaningful connection.

Facebook has a unique role in the Social Media strategy, and really is in a category of its own. I will take up that issue in a subsequent post, “Make Facebook Your Social Media Marketing Hub”.

Reinforce Your Social Media Positions… by Taking Massive and Consistent Action

The content-maintenance of your positions will reinforce and shore them up to be powerful elements of your online business.

Make a chart of the things you need to do. List the days and times of day you will post tweets. Schedule days of the week that you will add videos to your You Tube channel. Most importantly, outline the nature of the content you wish to share on a weekly basis.

Now that you have a master plan for developing and disseminating your content, do everything possible to stick to the schedule. Remember, the more action you take, the greater… and faster… your results will be.

Now that taken up your Social Media positions, and have established a plan for ongoing reinforcement of those positions, you are ready to unleash some extreme campaigns to put your business on the map and establish you as a force to be reckoned with in the world of cutting edge internet entrepreneurs and online marketers. Your Social Media sites will be the base from which all operations proceed, and your Internet Marketing Success will be measured by how effectively you carry out missions to attract and convert prospects, leads, down-lines and business partners into your marketing funnels. Visit my other posts that detail the first and third parts of this 3-part series designed to propel you to rapid victory in Online Marketing.

I always advise my clients to begin their online success journeys by developing a meaningful Social Media presence. Most of you are probably already on various Social Media sites. But now you need to learn how to use them to become a powerful engine to endlessly drive prospects and leads into your online business. Every entrepreneur knows that prospects and leads are how you spell success. Let me give you a brief insider glimpse at the counsel I give my clients for using Social Media to achieve this critical goal.

1. Assume Position

When YOU–the entrepreneur–go online to begin marketing, consider which marketing positions to take up. Usually, you start by creating accounts on the “Big Three” social media sites: Facebook, You Tube and Twitter.

There are social bookmarking sites like Digg and Delicious, video sites like Viddler, Metacafe and Google Videos. And this just scratches the surface. But I suggest you do what I teach my clients: start with the Big Three and expand as you begin to develop your online niche, create valuable content for others to share, and start building a base of followers, readers and viewers.

So, let’s say you open accounts for the Big Three sites. These constitute be the Social Media “positions” that you have taken up.

Open accounts for each of them in order to assume those positions.

Carefully develop your profiles to define who you are and why you’re in the Social Media to begin with. In this way, you’ve taken the first step to identifying yourself to potential business partners and prospects.

2. Reinforce Your Social Media Positions

Developing your business through Social Media requires more than just creating and setting up accounts, of course. You must reinforce your positions with good, valuable content that is specifically meaningful to your target clientele.

This will be the subject of the second part of this 3-part series.

3. Use Your Positions To Co-Ordinate and Carry Out Your Extreme Marketing Campaigns

Now that you’ve got your social media positions staked out, it’s time to attack. Go on the offensive. Root out all the browsers and seekers of whatever products, information and other value that you have to offer.

This will be the subject of the third part of this 3-part series.

SUMMARY

Your Social Media sites will be the base from which all operations proceed, and your Internet Marketing Success will be measured by how effectively you carry out missions to attract and convert prospects, leads, down-lines and business partners into your marketing funnels. Once you have established ongoing reinforcement of your Social Marketing positions, you are ready to unleash extreme campaigns that will put your business on the map and establish you as a force to be reckoned with in the world of cutting edge internet entrepreneurs and online marketers. – Don’t miss my other posts that detail the second and third parts of this 3-part series designed to propel you to rapid victory in Online Marketing.

Online marketing is an exciting world.

There’s a lot of opportunity to make enormous amounts of money. You can find business partners, MLM downlines and retail customers in larger numbers than you ever dreamed imaginable in the 3-dimensional world. You make new friends so quickly… by the hundreds on Facebook, by the thousands on Twitter. You get to sell your products, promote your business and blast your message and ideas into the ether!

But for many entrepreneurs, the allure of online marketing is most pronounced in the glitzy realm of Stardom. We have all learned by now that personal branding is the essence of attraction marketing. We can best attract people to our products, ideas and messages by positioning ourselves as repositories of value and conduits of success. This becomes our “brand”.

We can develop large followings to our brand, even virtual fan clubs. Some of the most magnetic leaders in the electronic universe command almost cult-like followings. Perry Marshall, Mike Dillard, Jonathan Budd and Katie Freiling come to mind for me. You will probably conjure up images of many others of this ilk. Then there are the rising stars,… too many to recount. Those that are walking the path of their mentors such as those mentioned, aspiring to be their understudies and dreaming of one day being their peers.

I must admit, the leaders I have mentioned have all been a great inspiration to me. Their value as internet marketers is limitless and their foray into the regions of personal development is both inspiring and challenging. Each of them is a great mentor and true leader in this society of aspiring internet marketing stars. And I certainly count myself among that throng.

Yet, in the midst of my entranced immersion into the cult of the star–not least of which is embedded my own personal quest for stardom and leadership–there emerges a twinge of discomfort. This need not concern my reader, insofar as my reader feels unity and cohesion with this road well-traveled. But my own personal quest is apt to be shred to pieces, drowned in irrelevance or hurled upon rocky shores should I surrender my personal bearings upon this journey.

The simple truth is, I did not wander into the regions of online marketing in search of fame and stardom, but to quietly cultivate an independent and sustainable lifestyle. My success, therefore, became defined in terms of my ability to attain these basic achievements. It was elevated by my sense of responsibility to family and community.

Goals of unlimited fortune and unparalleled fame seem to be the norm in the online world, and I think that is fine and well as long as they do not become absolute ends in and of themselves. Personally, I find it imperative to revisit my reasons for creating a personal brand. For me, it is to gain great success, not solely for my own gain, but most especially for the glorification of my Creator and Redeemer. I struggle to create fame and fortune today, but regardless of how great or minute, both will most certainly be gone tomorrow. I may one day be a Superstar… or not…

Either way, the greatness of my success will lie solely in my willing endeavor to apply every ounce of all my abilities to gain success for myself, my family and my community. “I”, in fact, am powerless to succeed on any level, or in any aspect of my life. Only through the grace of God have I been given my own distinct gifts, my own distinct “brand” and even my own ability to take best advantage of them. And only through the grace of God will I ever succeed to whatever degree I do.

But when all is said and done, my ultimate success… my shining “stardom”… will not be measured by the results or extent of my endeavors, but by the humility and persistence with which I undertake them.

PS: Social Media gives online entrepreneurs the best way to build lasting relationships with their customer base. This is a gradual, organic process that takes time to convert into working capital.

Pay Per Click campaigns are the best way to put your business on a fast track to success, and are probably the best way to drive steady traffic to your blog. Once this traffic undergoes conversion into a customer base, you will have established the capital that will sustain the engine of your business.

I recommend you utilize both Social Media and PPC campaigns to optimize your efforts as online entrepreneurs.
